Hello everyone,

My wife and I had our interview to get her 10 year visa card(i-751) that sometimes they send you in the mail without even an interview. They sent us a blue request for evidence before this and I sent the same stuff I sent when I first filled the application. I mean seriously I have no other things to send them and sent everything they asked for. At the interview today the lady asked questions and her main concern was about our health insurance. We were both out of work at the time and applied for county insurance about 3 months ago which is free if you dont have any income. She kept our papers with our insurance details and our joint bank account statement we have togther that was all. She looked at our car insurance and that was it besides our bank account and health insurance. She told us at the end of the interview I dont see any problem here, but she needs to further review our case and gave us the white sheet with the your case has been continued for the reasons checked below: further review box checked instead of the congratulations, your application has been approved. Im pretty stressed out this second and worried like i've never been before. I mean how come they dont come to our home and visit us? I wrote a letter as well in the evidence to invite them over to visit us here at our home if they wanted to. I dont see why we have to go through this when we are just a simple couple who love each other. Please someone give us any kind of feedback on our situation. I feel like my wife is going to get taken away from me and get deported for nothing we have done wrong. Do I need to get an attorney? Please someone advise us...... :(:(:(

O she started off as a K1-Visa from the Philippines to here in America

Thank you and GodBless,

Ray and Mary

Pretty typical interview experience. Shouldn't be a problem.

I've been searching through the forums and cant find any other interview posts like mine. I had a terrible day today and on top of that I just started a new job this past oct 24th missing one day of work already today. What is the the usual process now after we had this interview? Do we get a notice in the mail with a approved or denial letter? Do we have another interview again? Please chime in on what should we expect and do. Im kinda worried here because of this damn white paper with the box checked FURTHER REVIEW. I have no clue and wanted to ask the lady but she was so stern and did not want to be interupted and sent us on our way out.

They don't usually approve on the spot any more. Sounds like you'll be fine.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Does anyone know what the process is now that we had our interview and she really didnt say much but she needs to do further review of our case. Is this the last interview we need to go to or is there more after this one? Thanks again everyone.
