No texts or emails received, but I've just checked my status and it looks like my AP and EAD have been approved! AP shows post-decision activity and EAD shows card production. Can't quite believe it!

Congrats to everyone who received their EAD recently!

I am starting to feel a little queasy. Looks like they have approved quite a few with NOA date of November 10 and are moving along. We had such a long K-1 process....as some of you may or may not know, it took us almost TEN months from NOA1 to NOA2 for our K-1. It was an absolute nightmare, and we still have no idea why it took so long. We were told "security checks" when we inquired about it. Anyway, is there any chance this would have a bearing on a long time waiting for EAD??? Do they run security checks again?? I would think/hope not because obviously the applicant has already made it through all the security jumps of the K-1 process, but I am just so scared it will take awhile for us to get EAD, too, and my hubby really wants to be working asap.....

Hi there Monyfer

I understand why you feel the way you do after how long the K1 process took you, but I really would not worry at this stage (and I know it's easier said than done, as I was starting to get concerned too). We never know what's going on in USCIS, but I wouldn't have thought that the length of time the K1 took would have a bearing on this application. They are processing EADs for applications with NOA1s around your date, which would suggest that yours will come pretty soon. Hang in there, and hopefully you'll get a notification very soon.

I'm now putting together all my documents and reviewing our submitted forms in preparation for our interview next Tuesday! It is so exciting but at the same time intimidating.

My EAD has now been in production since 01/06 and I seriously wonder if it will make it to me before my interview - if not, I guess I'll just have to tell the IO that I have yet to receive it

I will keep you all posted about my EAD notices (as well as post interview notices) and provide you with an overview of our interview experiences.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Don't loose faith - I know being patient is difficult, but well worth it in the end!

If it makes you feel any better, my NOA date was November 4th, and I still have not heard about my EAD and AP. I wouldn't worry too much for the time being. You're definitely not alone.

(F) Cases are different and most times it depends on which immgration officer our case is assigned to...Most are lucky to get people that follow up and process each cases as they are assigned to them but some will take thEre time,Just keep it waiting under there sit as far as is within the time frame which is suppose to be adjudicated,Maybe when is a week or few days or maybe few days outside the NORMAL processing time,The officer will bring it up, flip over it and recommend for approval...Then it will pass thru the Tie 1 person that will sign...So is all about luck sometimes....My k-1 took just 28 days to be approved from NOA1...i dont think i have most easy case but stil,It was approved just within a month ,So now in the US,why is my EAD taking this long, close to 2 months which definitly could have been approved within a week or so after my biometrics,Just to run the background check....Which is understandable that FBI have to do there own job and sent back....Then after that, whats the point of keeping EAD card and waiting for 2 to 3 months to come for them to approve it....So sometimes is all about who has each case and all i can say is jus luck IT could be very hard staying home and doing nothing to support your spouse....Most times it breaks down homes and is really hurting mine real bad...Having my wife do everything,is killing both of us but what can we do than just wait and pray it gets approve soon......

(L) It will happen in Jesus name and the waiting will surely not break our lovely homes..Becouse we have the BIG (L) HEART to wait ..Thanks to the Loard that gave us such heart (L)

Earlier tonight I received an email that my EAD approval notice was sent (I think this means that the actual card has shipped, based on what I have read on other posts) I wonder how many emails one gets after they approve the i-485 (which I hope they do on Tuesday!!) For the record, I have thus far received three emails from USCIS regarding my EAD card production (two) and notice sent (one). See my signature below for the dates!

Good luck to everyone who is still waiting - I am sure that your'll soon receive wonderful news!
