I think they should ask another service center for help

:hehe:

Sure, but don't ask California CS for help, please. They just started working on ours. :P

:hehe:

I think they need to put a service center in every state...1) that will give thousands of people jobs in this ###### economy we have here now and 2) everything will go faster!! :) I mean that's just my thoughts.....if I were president. Hahahahahaha.

They just have to have one March petition that was held up for some reason go through that system for the processing times to reflect March. So hopefully, they just had a few at the bottom of a slow or vacationing person's desk, that are getting through right now, and hopefully will return to normal soon. I noticed the VJ stats said March for a few days, but were back to June yesterday for VSC.

Anyway, that is ridiculous and I am sending you my prayers for them to pick up speed and get you guys through.

Then you can also be lost in the limbo between USCIS, NVC, and embassy ;)

Great advice to get going on your embassy-specific packet 3. Ours is taking way longer than we thought, and we started before NOA2. If you can get yours going, then you are not really losing that time!

Good luck, guys. Hurry up VSC.

I'm a June 2011 filer myself at VSC...still waiting for my NOA2. The only plus side I see to the waiting is that I'm not doing it alone. Thanks VJ and everyone for their support. We are in this together.

The NOA2 is coming, just gotta tough it out!

Stay strong friends.

WOw Terri,

thanks for putting up the stats...I think it is helping me at least, to let go of knowing when. I have been researching the Embassy website for Aus and reading what packet three contains. Some of their requests have caught me by surprise. So I have foccussed on getting as many thing done as I can now...things that won't be time limited. I've been downloading forms and reading instructions and getting ready. When the NOA2 finally comes through I have a list of actions to put in place immediately. By the time the packet is sent from the Embassy I should be almost ready to send it right back!!! That's the plan anyway...what are you all doing while you twiddle your thumbs?

yes good to keep one step ahead of the paperwork. I am not working so I have way to much time to think about the day when it arrives. I have everything I need except the letter with my new case number on. All vaccinations, police certificate. All forms waiting to be faxed. I have made the arrangements of who is going to buy my furniture, the rest goes to charity. Everyone knows that when I have my visa in hand I'm nothing but a flash ... Color me gone...lololololol... So yes making all the arrangements I think helps.. good luck on your process.

Terri

who knows maybe I will work on more stats today....

I have also just called USCIS (rather hard and need to mess with the automatic phone hierarchy to get a live person). I filled on June 27th VSC center and as of today we have been waiting for a bit over 4 months. I received the same answer about working on June, I didnt want to bring up Igors list because obviously they do not consider it an official and reliable means, however I do consider it to some degree an indicator of how things stand. Honestly there are only a few March applications in wait for approvals, it is obvious work has been done on June ad that they started July as well, so I dont get it why do they say March 2011?!?!?!?

What worries me even more is the decrease in approvals that are very obvious looking on the latest trend on Igors list. It seems that work had been picked up at CSC however, if you look at the Stats page although CSC processed more applications in the last few weeks it did not increase proportionately with the decrease in approvals from CSC which on average were about 40 a week. Igors list is by no means an accurate number but on the whole it is a good indicator in trends and looking at it from that point of view it can accurately portray the current processing.

Concluding Questions:

1. Why do they say March when obviously most March applications were processed?!? and they even started June/July/ even Sept

2. What happened to the volume of applications, some shift happened and CSC picked up but not enough to explain the decrease from VSC?

this is very frustrating, patience is running out the last time my application was "touched" was july 18th , 2 weeks from my submission, ever since then absolutely nothing. not to even mention that receiving the second NOA does not even mean the end of the road, one can easily add another 3-4 months to the interview date depending on the country. So in other words it can take up to a year or more which is just ughhhhh frustrating.

ps. our application was also very straight forward no prior marriages, clean criminal record, no other past petitions nothing to say that it should be an application that needed extensive review.
