Hello All,

My husband and I had our stokes interview at 26 Federal Plaza yesterday October 26, 2011. My husband is the Petitioner and I am the Beneficiary.

We arrived for our 1:30pm interview and was called in at 2:30pm. We were sworn in, asked to submit any additional evidence, then my husband was escorted back to the waiting area so I could be interviewed first. I was questioned for 30 mins and answered over 80 questions. My husband was interviewed for 15 mins. After we were interviewed separately, we we called back to explain the discrepanices. We had 2 minor discrepancies. We didn't get an approval on spot, but once we left the office, our lawyer assured us that we were approved and had nothing to worry about(don't know how she knew this).

Today our status was updated. WE'RE APPROVED GUYS!!!! Words can't express how happy we are. THANK YOU GOD and thank you guys for all your help, VJ is definitely a blessing.

The stokes interview was not a bad experience. If you're really married, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The officer was not aggressive and the interview room was not intimidating at all(just a little recorder on the desk).

The reason my husband and I were sent to a stokes interview was because they thought he lived in a different state. He was really grilled on that.

Thank you guys again!!! My husband and I can finally breathe and take that well deserved honeymoon :D;):yes::dance:
