you need to play mafia wars or castle age

I got a flight simulator several years ago - the first time I lost it and crashed, I was pouring with sweat and scared stiff and my heart was beating and I had to go and have some aspirin and lay down

jeez it was realistic

I got over that and after a year, I got so I could land a 727 on an aircraft carrier. Just stalling and full brakes and full reverse thrust and into a strong wind. I was thinking of teaching people from a certain area of the world, seeing as training on the real thing in the USA is so much harder nowadays

Much better than facebook but it was exhausting

That must be the same one Alla used to play.

My brother has a couple of light airplanes, an experimental home built and a Cessna 172. Alla likes to fly them but tells him "do not let me land them because when I try on this flight simulator I crash and break everything all around"

Ok, so Alla will not be doing the landing.

I really got PTSD when I crashed. Never had a buzz like that from Facebook. All the top totty from work in 1995 found me on facebook. They all have short manky hair and six spotty kids and wear cotton slacks and look poor and disheveled and dispirited and 40 years older than they looked in 95 when they had long curling golden hair and green eyes and walked like catwalk models.

I used to lust after a few of em and they were knock out in 95 - but jeez what if I had got with em and been with em now.

See how the mighty are fallen.

I guess I was born lucky and dodged another bullet

Facebook is bad. They are in competition with Apple to take over the world. Apple is bad too.

In every barrel there is a bad apple

Insofar as it can get a guy laid or not, all this social media is a waste of time.

What other motive could there possibly be ? (for a guy)

Ladies just like to gossip

I don't understand the motive at all. Why do people want to suddenly be in touch with people that they hated 20 years ago?

On a serious note, I do understand that it is a way for people who are separated from their loved ones to keep in touch and share pics. But wait a minute, isn't that what Skype and Live Messenger is for? And the good old fashioned telephone??

yes I use messenger to talk to my pals - I talk for an hour to Tenerife and the the UK and I swivel my cam around so they can see the cascade mountains or my latest gun etc etc

Nobody can listen in and its private

My granddaughter pours out her innermost thoughts and the teenage boys line up to say what they want to do to her - they are all writhing about in a cess pit of their own creation. Its hard enough being 16 without having all that lot screwing your head up at the same time. I don't think I could have survived the pressure 24/7 at that age. I went fishing and had a motorbike and didn't have a girlfriend til I was 21

21 year old virgin

Mind you I had 2 kids by the time I was 23 so I caught up

No I could not have taken all this Facebook type intensity

Maybe I'm just not educated enough to understand the lure of Facebook. Or too old. Or both.

I keep it so my old g/f's know where I am if my wife runs off with Jose the Mexican gardener.

Actually I think I would retire from women if she did - they are all a bit worn anyway - so yes its no use at all really

Its a no win situation

If the old friends have really gone to seed - it makes you sad

If the old g/f s you dumped are still lovely and with a handsome guy - it makes you sad

If they are dead - it makes you sad

If they need your financial help - it makes you sad

My best pal isn't on Facebook - we do messenger. His wife is huge and grisly and hostile and gives him hell all day every day - that makes me feel good because I am not him - so he is my best pal
