I have heard different things if you google what to do after NOA2 it should give u a redirect to visa journey some of the guys did a step by step and was real helpful. They say when u get the NVC number u can set u don't have 2 wait for the letter but check the site 2 be 100% cause it is a lot to take in lol every one here is real good 4 hepin I just found google or bing is easier to find what I want on VJ

I saw September filer who got approved feb.1 and now their case was forwarded to manila embassy. I'm wondering where's our packet 3 now :wacko: been 10 days since we got approved and no news yet from NVC :unsure: I sent email to NVC yesterday hope we hear news by monday..getting so excited to have my medical :lol:

Ben has a surprise for me for V-day and its driving me crazy I don't know what it could be!!!!! If it was him coming I would love that but I'm not sure if he can afford to...my only hints are it'll be on V-day my time, I will love it, and its romantic...IT COULD BE ANYTHING AHHHHH lol :rofl:

The Manila embassy does NOT send out a packet, you go online to complete everything. You will eventually get a letter from the embassy but if once you get your MNL # you get rockin' 'n' rollin' you will be done with your interview before the letter arrives.... :lol:

Will the packet they send my finance have the date for her medical?

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

I'm sure by now the embassy has our case. Will the packet they send my finance have the date for her medical?

The Philippne embassy does not send out a packet, only a letter but you do not need to wait for that letter to get everything completed once you have the MNL #.

I just saw 3 October Filers under CSC got their NOA2 recently, one is same as my timeline Oct. 7... Does it mean we are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel??? :blush: It makes me more excited!

Yea, I am hoping it's the light at the end of the tunnel, we will know during this week, maybe this week we will see a few more approvals. I can't wait :star:

March 1, 2016 - Biometrics Appt

March 29, 2016 - In Line for interview

April 1, 2016 - Interview Scheduled

April 4, 2016 - Interview letter received in the mail

May 10, 2016 - Interview Day! (Approved)

June 8, 2016 - Oath Ceremony

always.....filed on 10/7/2011 got NOA2 on 1/27/2012 frm VSC NVC fowarded it to Embassy in Minilla on 02/06/2012...counting down now......from all I have heard the VSC and CSC kinda trade off in speed I have seen a few approvals of 10/11 trickle in for CSC....... soon guys an gals almost over stay strong! Also if anyone has a fiance in Cebu let me know local support helps 2 lol
