That article is laughable if anything. It mentions China and "Most Imprisoned People on Earth" in regards to the Palestinians. Hello? Anyone ever heard of places like Tibet or North Korea?

If the Jews weren't running the show there and it was up to the Arabs that area would be a total waste compared to what it is today. Just look at Israels neighbors in regards to standard of living and then think on it.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

It is a good read.good.gif

It is and I'm so happy you're posting like this. My cousin and I have been talking today about our own family history and how we lost our land in 1948-1951, which we don't normally talk about online. She started posting about it on other sites this week to make it real to some of her regulars, and I'm considering opening up about it more here because there is so much that Americans don't know about the process of how Palestinians, Muslim and Christian, lost their property and the laws Israel passed to legalize the theft. It's a history that most Americans never see or hear about.

And what other terrible things can we talk about that happened over 60 years ago?

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

There are always two sides and both should be discussed if any want a more clear picture.good.gif

When they stop happening, we'll stop talking about it.

I know 2 wrongs don't make a right. But....IYEO (In your expert opinion) do you think the Jews at their lowest point were treated more or less unfairly than the Palestinians at their lowest point in history?

If the Palestinians are so ticked off, why not just kick the Israelis out?

If so, where is their empathy for the oppressed they helped create?
