Hi ,i have a question my friend she has 10year visa and when she is here in usa she gave birth to baby now her baby is usa citizen ,and she went back to india but she still have visa can she apply green card here in usa cuz her baby is citizen.plz help her what she can do.

She can once the child is old enough to petition for her...which is 18

She does not get status in the US simply because she has a child

No she cannot apply for GC coz her kid is USC....

The kid will have to be 18 before kid can petition for the mom and at that time her kid would apply for her GC.

Having a US citizen child does not confer any immigration rights to the parent. A US citizen must be at least 21 years old to petition for a parent. Your friend's US citizen child can only petition for her when he/she turns 21 years old.
