They updated yesterday Sept. 19 to show they are processing apps dated March 20, 2006.

Met online April 2004

Went to Mumbai to meet Poonam Sept. 2004

Sept. 2004 thru April 2006 ongoing relationship

Went back to Mumbai April 2006

Engagement April 2006

Nov.-Dec. 2006 went to Mumbai

K-1 Journey*

08-02-06 mailed I-129F

08-15-06 NOA1

08-18-06 touched

10-05-06 NOA2 (51 Days)

10-06-06 touched

10-07-06 touched

10-16-06 Received hardcopy of NOA2 in the mail

10-19-06 NVC received my petition (Please hurry, so she can be here for Christmas)

10-26-06 Received NVC letter stating it was sent to Mumbai (Letter dated 10-23-06)

12-09-06 Never received Packet 3, So we downloaded and sent to embassy

02-02-07 INTERVIEW (Missed 1st interview, waiting on new interview date)

04-02-07 New INTERVIEW Date.

04-02-07 APPROVED !!!!!

04-27-07 ARRIVED IN U.S.

The USCIS is following this pattern now, they will post a date no less than 6 months from the present date, it is their way of saying give us 6+ months before inquiring about the case. See the post on VSC is also showing a 6 month date.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Time to call them and get the usual message give them another 30-60 days.

We're replying to a RFE today so need to do that before I can call and complain.

Is there any point calling for the 30 days, 30 days, 30 days #######? This process is so frustrating I don't think I could handle getting the brush-off by some unsympathetic, not-so-nice, USCIS officer.

I know its frustrating, but now you have an advantage because you are officially outside their processing date. Gett that RFE in and call them. Good luck on hearing someting soon after. (F)

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

CSC trying to cover up the mess that they are in...its hard to understand even you have to consider each case is unique still it's obvious they are not processing according to NOA1. but i dont agree they have to wait for those people who filed later while they need rfe for those you did not submit documents to satisfy the process. Hope they are doing what is right and be fair to everyone.

Am used in waiting longer but still there are times its hard to be patiently waiting. But if i see someone who waits longer than me i'll just have to say God have mercy on Us all who are bearing with the pain of waiting to be approve and done with the journey.

But not everyone that has filed in March or April that haven't gotten their NOA2 have RFE. I filed in early April and the only RFE I received was IMBRA and that was returned in July and I have not gotten my NOA2 nor another RFE.

So there are not doing it fairly. I agree if someone have a RFE they shouldn't wait but they need to take care of the petitions that came in first.

July 25 2005 - Things start to get 'romantic'

Nov 11 2005 - Met in person

Dec 31 2005 - Engaged

March 6 2006 - I-129F sent

March 9 2006 - I-129F NOA1

June 10 Case Transfered to CSC - assured by USCIS that NOA1 date would be honored

July 3 2006 - IMBRA RFE in the mail

July 5 2006 - RFE sent with extra evidence (plane tickets, receipts, letters, emails, photos)

July 10 2006 - RFE received

Aug 8 2006 - Congressional inquiry - told 129F cases are processed based on IMBRA RFE

Sept 20 2006 - Called DHS - Was told another RFE was sent three weeks ago

Sept 21 2006 - Local USCIS office claims RFE is a request for 'initial' evidence - RFE must be lost or was never actually sent.

Sept 22 2006 - Congressional inquiry #2- told "We are working on your case, please allow 60 days" ARGGHH

Sept 26 2006 - 6 touches from all my investigating

Oct 16 2006 - Finally received the RFE that's been holding up our case. It's the IMBRA RFE that we already sent in and was verified received!

Oct 17 2006 - Senator Mark Dayton's office finally gets USCIS to pull out petition for special processing.

Oct 24 2006 - FINALLY APPROVED!

Jan 18 2007 - Interview in Vancouver / K-1 received

Jan 23 2007 - Sheryl enters the US with me

Feb 17 2007 - Wedding!
