Hi! Quick help needed regarding the documents included in your I 751 package as verification that you are still married and living with your spouse:

On the instruction sheet, a bunch of different kinds of documentations are mentioned as needed. But are they all mandatory? Naturally, if you don't have kids than the child info isn't relevant. But are the affidavits from friends mandatory? If so, are they required to be notarized? I have lots of other stuff (bank stuff, travel stuff, insurance stuff) that shows us living a life together, but wasn't sure if it was enough without the friends stuff.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

this should be in the ROC forums.

Affidavits dont need to be notarized. They are not required and you dont need them if you have a very good list of evidence that has a lot of life co-mingling proof.

No affidavits are not required. I didnt send any and got approved. Good luck!!

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
