I was reading about the I-864. Do I need my pay stub for the whole year. I don't have them all. I am going crazy looking for them. If I don't have it, what can I do.

Several recent paystubs are usually adequate.

Pay stubs are optional, and you don't need them for a year--just six months. And even here there is much confusion on this web site--you don't need EVERY pay stub for six months, but rather A SINGLE pay stub that shows at least six months year to date income. So, if you had a pay stub for let's say August 31 that showed your year to date income for the last eight months, it would be perfect.

First off, pay stubs in themselves are optional, so you can submit as many as you want. But if your pay stubs have year-to-date income on them, then technically you only need to send in one.

No. Last 4-6 months will suffice. Even if you have just the last which shows "Year to date" amount - you're OK. This is what I'm gonna submit along with my i-864 package.

I just send my latest one, as it also contains information on year-to date cumulative totals and I was approved.
