We didn't write on the back of the photos

Hello, everybody!

We are a K1 July filer and have been waiting on our NOA2 for 55 days now. I was just wondering if it is mandatory to write on the back of the photos or if in the case we have sent all proofs it is not so relevant at all? My fiancee sent all primary and secondary proofs required for the process: copies of every single page of his passport with the visa stamps, boarding passes, itineray, skype, emails and facebook logs and the photos, but didn't write the dates, places and people's names on the back. Has anybody out there gone through this before without getting a RFE?

I know all we have to do now is wait and see what happens but any reply will be very appreciated! Thanks!

Well, since you have lots of primary evidence you might not get RFE.

To me it sounds like you're good. Visa stamps prove that you were at the same place at the same time, photos are just a back up.

While writing the date on the back of the pictures is not mandatory, it's always good to do so. However, based on the evidence that was submitted with the petition, I believe it is unlikely an RFE will be generated.

I have. I sent only ONE photo, no date stamp, no writing on the back, and no RFEs

I didn't even really think of it until later, but the biggest risk is that they would get separated from your file and there are no names to match up. But photos are secondary anyway

We didn't write on the back either, but pasted the pictures on a sheet of paper and put a small description of who is in the photo and when it was taken. Our petition was approved.
