AOS cases are sent to CSC for faster processing. You have a 50/50 chance for an interview, but most cases that are sent to CSC do NOT have an interview. It's great news. I'll be happy if ours gets transferred to CSC...it's a good thing. And yes, I've seen people get their green cards in about three months.

Its VERY common to be transferred to CSC. Generally it means you do not have an interview. There have been other posts this week about this exact same thing.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Hi there,

We have the same thing, we sent our AOS last july 18, 2011, we even had received our notification from USCIS, that they transferred our case into CSC, but until now we still don't receive any notification for a Biometric Notice, its been 1 month and two weeks already.. unlike the others they got there Biometric Notification. I wonder if its normal for this kind of case.

I will appreciate if anyone can tell me something for this a little problem of mine.

Thank you.

it completely depends on your ASC location, if they are slow, if they are backed up etc. You just have to wait for now. Some biometric appointments take longer than others.

Ours was transferred to California last month and I had my biometrics last August 12th. No news on EAD yet. I think Inky was right, if your ASC is slow or backed up you will have to wait like what others have experienced.

Hi,

We applied for I-485, I-765 and I-131 around 08/13/2011(NOA around 08/18). We had the Biometrics on 09/13/2011.

We recived the letter from USCIS on 09/8/2011 saying that my I-485 application is transferred to CSC to speed up the processing.

We are anxious if this is going to help or not.

We are looking for EAD first.
