Hi all!

So here we go again... Can't believe it's already been two years since AOS. Time flies!

We will send ours on Sep 12. Will include copies of joint bank account, joint taxes, 401K, health insurance, car insurance, drivers licenses showing same address, and a few photos.

Also, we will include affidavits. We understood the instructions as if one HAS to include at least 2 affidavits, but seems people are not including them?

Looking forward to keeping in touch with you all! :-)

They are not required and many people do not include any unless they do not have enough solid evidence.

We will include a lot of evidence such as bank accounts, 401K, taxes, health and car insurance etc (all joint)... So I guess we don't really need affidavits then?

By the way, have said this before, during K1 and AOS, but saying it again.... so happy for Visa Journey!!!! :-)

It's been a while since I posted on VJ but here we go again. Although I feel confident that we have plenty of 'evidence', the whole filing process brings back those old uneasy feelings, especially knowing that this is going to be an awful long wait as we file at Vermont this time instead of California due to a move to Florida last year. urgh!!!

We'll be filing on 7th September and our packet is ready to go. :)

K1

5/16/08:Received NA01

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

Not really but if you want to have them just for peace of mind go right ahead and include them, for me its hard to get them because everyone we know recently moved out of state and are gone because military! So i'm not really going to worry on it and only got a letter sent from my husbands mother to include. Just as a "just incase".

Hi all, can't believe it is almost time to go through all this again!! I'm currently getting all our stuff together to file on the 16th. I'm including:

Copy of passport and greencard

Joint tax returns

Car insurances

Drivers licenses showing same address

Joint bank and stock accounts

Health insurance cards

Property deed and mortgage with both our names

Homeowners insurance

Utility bills

Lease from previous rental home

Documentation of trips (passport stamps, boarding passes and pics)

3 affidavits (although I'm not sure these are really necessary)

Family pictures

Do you think that this is enough? I'm not too worried about filing this time - it's not nearly as much of a hastle as the I-129F was!! But I do still want to do it all properly and avoid any delays and be done with USCIS!! (Well, until 10yrs) :) Again, echoing other people's thoughts - I love visajourney and don't know how I would have gotten through this whole process without it!!!

There is no where in the guide or instructions that asks for passport bio-page copy.

Still can't figure out how to post my timeline on Replies. I am sure it is my ignorance.

Go to settings (right upper corner of your screen), choose the tab profile and then on the left select change signature. You can then type in your timeline, which will be automatically added to every post you make. (I don't think there's a way to add your 'my timeline' to every reply, so all the timelines you see in other members' posts are in fact their signatures).

Good luck!
