Perfect, thanks! I just didn't want to call and bug them if they weren't the right place to check!

I bugged them everyday for 3 weeks. Laura was very helpful but Sarah is the best! Joy and Carrie not so much. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the numbers to press btw!! I spoke to Raquel (sp?) she was very friendly. Although, it doesn't seem as though London has logged our packet three even though we have tracking confirmation that they received it on Tuesday. Is that odd?

Not odd give it a week or two for them to get it out of the mail room and into the computer system.

Hi Cmoore - first off you can save yourself all the numbers in between and can go straight from number 1 for main menu to 0 for operator.

Second - don't expect London to acknowledge receipt of your packet for a little while yet - for me it was a good 2 weeks before they showed my case as logged and another 1/2 week before they gave me an interview date, so no, nothing to worry about. They get loads of letters / packet 3's every day and they process them in the order they get them so at the moment you're unfortunately still towards the bottom of this figurative pile...

Good luck!

I don't think it's strange at all. I have no experience with the embassy in London but you are talking three working days. The next thing you will hear is "eligible for an interview" and then "Interview scheduled". In our case it was about 5 days between those two time ticks. I'd call them back on Tuesday. If you're feeling down just have a look at our timeline.

Alright, great! Thanks! I guess I just figure since we had delivery confirmation they'd have something on file! I've heard that it's not uncommon for London to misplace a file - so I didn't know how long to give it before it was considered lost. Lol

I'll call them again next Friday :) My fiance's medical is on the 6th - so I guess as long as it's logged before then we're okay :) :)
