Hey people, so in the end, I was able to attend the visa interview. We were the first ones there and it all moved smoothly.

When we got to the person who checks your papers, sha said we needed another birth certificate, so two. My husband has dual citizenship so they needed one from each country. I couldn't believe it. I told them that it was not on the forms they had sent and that I had triple checked this with NVC. The woman said "I know, we keep telling them" bla bla bla. Then I started crying. It was like 2 minutes in to the whole thing. How embarrassing.

Then my husband said that maybe he had one and but that it was older than three months. So the consular said she would accept it. Last night we spent a long time looking for it and we found it. This morning was open visa hours and we went back to deliver it.

This time we were talking to someone else. The guy said "no, she was wrong" and I was so ready to super hitch him out, but after he consulted the notes, he said it was ok. He took it and said it was approved and that the visa will arrive next week.

It's over.

NVC said NOV is Full :( :( my CC 19 Aug 2011 :(

NVC told me the same thing on Wednesday, the very next day I called them and was told an interview was scheduled for November, keep inquiring. I hope a November interview date is assigned to your case.

NVC told me the same thing on Wednesday, the very next day I called them and was told an interview was scheduled for November, keep inquiring. I hope a November interview date is assigned to your case.

u r lucky dude , i am tense bcoz , on 1 nov my company terminate me from job , then i cant stay in UAE , i dont know what should i do now , :crying:
