Well as they say no question is a stupid question... :P

For those who have interview or know what type of pictures do/did you bring?

I plan on bringing wedding pics and pictures taken in different scenarios. I was also thinking of bringing pictures of us cuddling in bed or kissing. Is that too much?? It doesn't show anything other than me in my tubi

Can someone help me... :help:

Think of what you wouldn't want to show your kids or your parents. That's too intimate. you're applying to obtain a piece of paper from a bureaucrat: there is no reason to embarrass yourselves. a few pics showing moments together (a birthday, a travel, some family photos, etc.) is enough.

I was also thinking of bringing pictures of us cuddling in bed

Skip the pictures of you two in bed, even if they are G rated.

I had photos from every visit to the DR to see my husband (almost monthly for a year!). Including wedding photos we had ones from all over the city and with friends and family and trips to the beach resorts...some showed us kissing :)

Remember that at the interview the evidence you bring has to slide into a slot in the glass between you and the interviewer. I took about 75 pics to the interview in a small photo album and had all my other evidence plastic sleeves in a binder with organized tabs so they could be removed if necessary. Although at the interview he didn't ask to see one piece of evidence but I sure was glad we had it...just in case!

So I guess it's ok to bring photos of us kissing

I plan on being extra organized with my binder and tabs

Thanks for the info Carlos' wife :D

When my wife had her interview, they did not even look at the pictures. Just asked some questions.

The USCIS stage proves the petitioner is a US citizen, and that a valid marriage exists.

The NVC stage proves that the beneficiary is who they say they are, and are qualified to apply for a visa.

The interview stage convinces them that the valid marriage between the USC and the beneficiary is a true relationship.

I would bring photos that back up all three stages. Photos of the wedding, in our opinion should be around 25%. The other 75% should demonstrate a "normal" relationship. Time together, photos that you normally accumulate over the course of your relationship. Family, trips, outings, funerals, weddings, dinners, barbeques, recreation, children.

That is what we did, and we were successful, so for OUR situation, it was what was necessary. Obviously, everyone is different.

Best of luck to you,
