CSC on pace to finish March, April, May this month

So far this month, CSC has approved 71 NOA2's:

NOA1 date:

March 21

April 17

May 10

June 15

July 7

Aug. 1

Total 71

If they approve at the same rate, in order, then in the second half of Sept. they will clear:

March 21

April 22

May 28.

However, I note that almost 1/3 of their September approvals are June and July folks.

In October they would clear 142 (maybe more with 2 extra work days):

May 2 (done)

June 58 (done)

July 70 (done)

Aug. 12

This is SUBSTANTIALLY faster than the VJ estimate.

In Nov. they would clear 142:

Aug. 68 (with NOA1) plus 7 (no NOA1 yet)

Sept. 17 with NOA1 plus 7 (no NOA1 yet) so far this month.

If the number of Sept. applications stays small, they might even get into the October applications.

Tom

Professor ,

You know I love your stats , also I LOVE your signature, too. :P(L)

Thank you so much !!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Someone else did a spreadsheet showing about 88 approvals in the first 2 weeks of September. That's 176/month which is close to your estimate of 142/month. If these estimates approximate reality, the VJ estimate is VERY pessimistic, by a month or two.

I hope you're right because I bet my fiance we'd get the NOA2 on or before November 1, and if I win I get a 20-minute massage every day for two weeks. :)

Thanks for keeping us up to date with how the cases here are moving along. I love seeing your posts. And I will take your prediction that our approval will come in November. (keeping fingers crossed) That's a lot faster than I had hoped for back in June when I was preparing the petition!

Come on CSC- keeping them moving.

I'm optimistic BUT, CSC has not been consistent enough for me to jump on the bandwagon just yet. CSC is a wild untamed beast. Let's toast to CSC in hopes of more NOA2 success stories. Cheers!!! - Sheriff Uling

Tom,

Are you saying that people with August receipt dates could have approvals from USCIS by November? I'm new to this whole thing and trying to understand all the abbreviations, timelines, etc. I know nothing is a sure thing. Just wondering if I understand you correctly.

Thanks,

Maggie

Yes, that's my guess.

But I also agree with the prior post, saying that CSC is very unpredictable. I'm very happy for the June and July people who are getting approvals. But I really think it would be much more fair if they went in order by receipt date, or at least NOA1 date.
