AnneElizabeth me either - no cravings which is a shock!

Started P2 today, still only lost 5lbs in P1 but they say if you have less than a certain amount to lose (and I have to go slightly under weight cos I have dodgy knees) then its slow - which bites but thems the breaks hey, lol

Its still a great choice for healthy foods tho - I feel way more alert since I started this (and not ONE cheat or fall Im so proud of myself!) :)

Good Luck Welshcookie!

I am on P2 now, have been for a week - but the weight isn't moving and I haven't reintroduced many carbs at all (apart from the wine!). Anyway, I feel great - haven't any cravings at all, so am not missing anything in particular. Just have to stick with it now!

Keep up the good work everyone!

I haven't introduced many carbs for P2. I did buy some low carb wraps to make sandwiches with. Anywhere from 4 to 8 net carbs in the tortillas. I'm eating a lot of fiber and I'm very regular.

keep it up.

About four years ago I saw a TV show where the people were competing to loose weight. One of the nutritionists recommended keeping fat grams to under 20 a day, calories around 1400 or so and exercise. I tried it and in about 90 days I lost 50 pounds.

I've lost 12 pounds (6 more to go!) and I've done it simply by couting calories, walking everyday, and cutting back on portion size. Also, I don't allow myself to eat after 6PM. That is a huge factor! I found a great website (and it's FREE), that you can track your calories, fat, protein, and carbs. You simply type in what you ate and it calculates it all for you. It really makes you aware of what you're eating. If anyone is interested, the website is www.sparkpeople.com

update.. I'm up to 29 lbs lost!!

Keep it up everybody.

Just a couple of notes about the SBD...

1. You don't count calories

2. You eat when you're hungry

I gave up trying for now... :crying: This is my last week of work and ever day there are luncheons with colleagues and dinners with friends

I am driving away this afternoon and then... next week, we leave on vacation to the Grand Canyon where we will also visit his brother and family and a college friend of John's that he has not seen in 20 years!!!

So, after THAT, I have told him I will be cooking the SB way!!! Stay tuned... oh, wait, we get back Easter Friday... maybe I'll wait till AFTER chocolate bunny day!!!:lol::lol:

You can eat the SB way at work, luncheons, vacation etc..... Once you get in the groove it's easy..
