I-751 August 2011 Filers

Hi everyone!

We had to hastily prepare our ROC paperwork because I've been recovering from a surgery! Nonetheless, we filed on time but I'm wondering if we provided enough evidence.

Here's what we filed with our I751 with fee:

Copy of my wife's green card (both sides)

Copy of wife's passport

3 affidavits of friends

Statement from my elderly aunt who lives in our home and we care for.

Copies of both our drivers licenses showing same address.

Copies of our checkbooks-showing a common address and branch. But we didnt get a joint account because we use my account to pay our bills and she uses hers to send money home once in a while.

Copies of joint account health insurance cards from United Healthcare and MVP.

Copy of joint SAMs club account cards.

Copies of 2009 and 2010 joint federal and state tax returns.

We didn't think to get utility bills in both our names. Basically everything is in my name. After reviewing this site there is so much more I wish we included that isn't mentioned in the federal instructions.

Do you think I sent enough?

Enclosed please find a JOINT I-751 petition for removal of conditions of permanent resident status regarding my wife (My Wife's Name). Please also find a check for $590, the fee for this form. My wife entered the US on a K-1 visa. We are all happily living together and request that this petition be accepted for removal of conditions on the residence of wife (My Wife's Name). My wife and I are currently living with my parents at no cost so this is why we do not have any lease or deed or any utility bills enclosed with the documents below.

Enclosed also please find the following documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

• Copies of the green card, driver license, social security, and student ID cards of (My Wife's Name).

• Copy of the tax transcripts of our 2009 and 2010 joint US tax return.

• A letter from my company of the designation of my benefits to (My Wife's Name).

• A copy of our car finance summary, showing joint ownership.

• A copy of our Retail Installment Sale Contract for our car purchase.

• A copy of our car statement under my name since I am paying for the car.

• A copy of car insurance card. (I am excluded due to high cost of insurance)

• A copy of our Vehicle Registration Card showing joint ownership and common address.

• A copy of our Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice showing joint ownership and common address.

• A copy of our Mastercard and credit card statement showing a joint account.

• A copy of my checking statement showing payments to Toyota and Statefarm.

• A copy of our hotel reservations for our Las Vegas trip in September of 2009 and April of 2010.

• A copy of MGM Grand statement for our room reservation paid for by my wife.

• A copy of our hotel reservation for our Laughlin, Nevada trip on July of 2011.

• Copy of our various casino players’ club cards.

• A copy of our previous AT&T phone bill on the family plan.

• A copy of my wife’s T-Mobile Account Overview Page. (We switched Phone Company since my wife does not talk much on the phone; she is now on a pre-paid plan with T-Mobile.

• A Copy of our Bank of America joint checking account statement.

• A Credit Card offer letter for my wife mailed to my parent’s home, where we are currently living.

• A copy of a letter from the Social Security Administration mailed to my parent’s home, where we are currently living.

• A copy of my credit card statement showing airline ticket purchase for my wife’s vacation back home to China and class tuition for her college.

• 24 pictures of us with my sister and friends.

You may feel free to inquire at any of the sources of enclosed documentation for validity of their statements. Please advise me if you have any further questions or problems related to this petition.

I mailed out mine today, 8/4, to California service center. Please help me add to the list.

My temporary card will expire on 9/17 and I was just told yesterday that I will have to take a two-week business trip overseas from 9/10 to 9/25. I just cross my fingers to pray that I will get the extension letter before my travel. Does anyone know how long it normally takes to receive the extension letter after you submit ROC package?

My friend received the extension letter after a week she mailed the package..Just pray that you're not gonna receive RFE so it will not extend the wait..

I just spent a bunch of time trying to fix the format of the most recent post, but couldn't figure out how to do so.
