What kind of error, and whose (yours, theirs)(?

What email did you get from the embassy and how does it relate to the error?

I see the OP had duplicate thread... this might be the missing

((Please allow us to explain the process by which incorrect information in our computer system is removed. This may help you understand the delay. We can confirm that the ICE attach? at the embassy has submitted a request for the information to be removed from the computer database. However, this request entails other offices and personnel within DHS and the State Department removing the information from several databases. A State Department Consular Officer cannot authorize a visa while the information is still present in the computer system. To do so would be a violation of State Department regulations. We know this explanation does not bring your husband’s case to an immediate conclusion, but we hope it helps you understand process)).
