There is a little saying over at imgur.com that goes like "not a single f*** was given that day" generally captioning an image in which the subject is seen as being lazy and just going about their daily routine, such as picking their nose, or using their dog's head as a mouse pad for their laptop...

Just so that we're on the same page, this is not a post on what goes on at imgur.com, rather a post that references one of the applicable captions (in this case "not a single f*** was given that day") to today's activity on VJ indicating an NOA2.

Yes.

TODAY IS FRIDAY, JULY 29, 2011

NOT A SINGLE [edit:K1] NOA2 WAS GIVEN THIS DAY.

I know I may be over-reacting but I'm not complaining. I can understand that people are enjoy their fridays and just haven't gotten to updating their VJ accounts.

In any case, I just wanted to say that I've been watching the VSC Igor's list religiously. Over the last few days, I saw myself jump from 220+ to the 19s. (And I am really thankful for that, keep at it VSC).

I'm an April Filer and Im an Igor's List junkie/Addict.

Lol.

Now that I got that off my chest.

Anyone else feeling what I'm feeling?

Chigs

Yeah... I got the bug.

To make matters worse, I'm an engineer and sort of a math/stats junkie...

So I keep looking for different ways to analyze it all.

I used to check every hour until people behind us started getting approved like crazy while we still sit and wait. I also use to check when people got approved around 100 but now we're in the 30s and still nothing. The list gives you hope for awhile until you have the same happen and start getting passed like us. Hopefully the list works in your favor but for us it is meaningless.

Yep, Igor's list is just one of many very, very cool things about VJ...what a great place this is for those of us who have to endure (or have endured ;)) this process.

We were approved today..not a K-1 petition but is still an approval.

Maybe people who were approved today will update their timelines later.VSC is picking up pace especially on the K1s. Igor list will tell your that VSC is actually processing more K-1 than CR1 lately

Good Luck to you guys and wih you all a speedy approval

Nice. I myself am a computer engineer working as a software developer so I know exactly what you mean. Its a constant battle wanting to see the stats. I must have contemplated about a 1000 scenarios on how long its going to take the petition to get approved. And each day, I feel different. Sometimes I feel like August is gonna be my month, then considering today's performance, I can kiss that notion goodbye.

Numbers can drive you insane here...

Patience is the name of the game...

Keep the faith. I'm sure you two are just a day or two away from approval. I think you will be pleasantly surprised in just a few days.

I once read on here that VJ only represents 4% of the total petitions being worked on at the USCIS service centers. While igor's list is a pretty cool tool to check (i checked it everyday as well) in my experience, it was also disappointing. My petition did not get approved until 1 month after being the 1 person at the top of the list. I got to see more clearly using Igors list, all the people that filed after me get approved before me.

I did actually see 1 NOA2 for VSC yesterday. It's just a fraction of those out there awaiting K1 news that use VJ. But I myself am also an addict. I can't help it. I'm hoping to be one of the folks who gets approved in faster than normal processing times. Wishful thinking, I know, but don't we all want to just be with our loved ones NOW? of course. The Berkeley list shows more comprehensive stats and gives me more hope now that I am halfway down the list. "John"...I understand your pain on being in the 30's and still not getting your NOA2. You are a Jordan filer, and people filing from our part of the world are subject to much more stern background checks and digging. It's the stigma we have to endure to get to the final result. I wish you the best and hope you get your news this week. Cali seems to not be so consistent lately. But there's no method to the madness in this waiting game is there?

I want to have my love here NOW!!! Good luck to us all. And may the USCIS Gods have mercy on us! lol

Ami&Chigs - We're close on dates, so hopefully we'll all get some information soon! I don't update Igor's obsessively but I would be lying if I said I didn't check my status page at USCIS with an obsession that would make any OCD'er proud!

...Get up in the morning... check status.

...At work...check status.

...Get home...check status.

...Pass by the computer on the way to the kitchen?...check status.

I am also doing the same thing with the email address I gave them. It's silly but for whatever reason it makes the time go by better IMO. :)

4.26.11 - Packet sent to Texas LockBox

4.28.11 - Delivery to Dallas Texas

5.4.11 - NOA1 Text AND Email @ 2:46 AM. WOOT!

5.6.11 - NOA1 Hard Copy

8.17.11 - NOA2!!!!!!!!! NO RFE!! THANKS VJ FRIENDS!!
