I think I'll start some similar new polls:

Do you want to burn down your own house?

Do you want to cancel your life insurance policy and immediately go out pursuing life threatening activities such as mountain climbing on live volcanoes, sightseeing amongst the al-Shabaab militants in Somalia, or going hunting with ####### Cheney?

Do you enjoy bringing needless pain and suffering upon yourself and your loved ones?

Are you certifiably insane?

Those polls are all effectively equivalent.

Indeed. Of course it should be pointed out that people who self harm are mentally ill and get institutionalised when they pose a danger to themselves and others

I am voting yes, because I hate uncertainty.

Please leave this in P&R as it is a political issue.

Does this mean that in your opinion US will NEVER default? :)

Anyone with a functioning brain cell knows they will not default on Tuesday or any other day.

I don't understand the question.

The US cannot default since we're not using real money anymore.

I assume that by voting yes, it means to stop paying to service current debt. A bit like walking away from a mortgage...thats unethical right, or so i've heard

Yes, a default is a default on debt. Not a government shutdown or a downgrade.
