awesome! all the best in the search.:thumbs:

Well this one is at my current work - and its actually in the direct area I'm interested in. Only thing is the pay isn't all that high - so I might be better off with one of the other jobs, which is in NJ rather than NYC - but would mean a longer daily commute.

Might not pay as much, but if its what you want, would be happier (more productive) there than further afield that pays more. besides, maybe can finagle more vacay or better health insurance despite being lower pay.

On the plus side - their benefits are actually pretty good. Health insurance is quite cheap - so might be worth considering. Plus during the summer every friday is a half day.

Congrats!

Always remember: Money ain't everything. Go for what you're interested in as long as it pays the bills. Money won't buy you that feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction having done what you enjoy doing when you leave the job in the evening.

Well this is in books, which I am interested in - but I'd be dealing with teaching textbooks (for pre-schoolers) and architectural books. My long term goal is to be a writer - so I'd like to get into Book Development. Easier to get yourself published if you work in the industry ;-) And New York is the centre of the publishing world, so its a good place to make a start.

Got two more interviews lined up tomorrow and monday - so will see if I can get a better offer.

Congratulations! And here's to hoping you'll have the best option available to you!:star:
