Hi all.

I know that hairstyle says a lot about a person and that certain stereotypes are attributed to certain hairstyles, but I have my interview soon and I have . . .

DREADLOCKS

Now is this really going to pose an issue for me, are they going to look at me and think this punk just wants in because we have good surf seasons and relaxed Californian 'medicinal' views (I have never surfed nor do I 'partake').

I know it's a minor point but if I have to shave them for the benefit of the interviewer, I will do just that.

Anyone with any appearance related experience please contribute!

Cheers Danny

It shouldn't be a problem at all. If your appearance didn't make the doctor at the medical ask any piercing questions about drugs then you should be A-OK at the interview :D

I would imagine that they know what you look like, from the passport pictures you've supplied. And I would also imagine that they have some kind of protocol to stop them discriminating against people on such grounds.
