Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 26, 2011
Embassy Review : A very brief review of my K1 experience
Up at 4:00am for my train from Ipswich to London
Got a Embassy for 7:10am front of line
Went to Pharmacy, £3 to hold stuff for me
Went through three security checks and was given a ticket number (07:45)
Called up, gave over Documents needed (didn't even take a photo?!)
Sat back down
Called up again (08:20) this time fo the interview, 1st time was for paperwork etc etc
Had to swear on oathe, answered:
1. How did we meet
2. How did I propose
3. What do I plan to do when I get out there.......Accepted(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Had SO MUCH proof of ongoing to show them, kinda bummed they didn't ask for ANYTHING
Was out by 09:00, everyone was so SO nice and am now waiting for my Passport back so I can begin my life!!
Biggest piece of advice, DO NOT PANIC, I did and now I feel like a muppet as people always tell you not to worry but you always do, so read this and I am sure you will still panic, but DO NOT!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
