Does it matter if he visited me only once?

I'm done with my medical. Everything went well. My interview will be on August 2, I was just wondering if it matters to the consul if my fiance visited me only once. Will this be a probable cause that we won't get approved? I'm really being paranoid about the coming interview. lol

I think its ok, so long its within 2yrs before filling the petition....If you have lots of pics frm the single visit, I believe that should help, aside from other documentation of emails, phone logs etc..

Its doesnt matter as long as your papers are all complete especially the affidavit of support along with his ITR, W2 and pay stubs, it'll turn out fine. Goodluck! :)

At interview stage you just need to provide proof of ongoing relationship as far as the relationship is concerned. Chat logs, emails etc. and take any photos you have together... the once only meeting is ok. You'll be fine.. best of luck!

I been to the Philippines often but I see in the Embassy reviews, that the CO's in Manila always ask those Questions? "How many times he visit you"? "When is the last time you saw him, and for how long"? just wondering if it makes no difference why they ask those Questions?

I wish you all the best on your interview. For the visit, if it is in the last two years, it is Ok and mostly that is also be a matter of USCIS, however it wil not affect the interview outcome.

Good luck

My personal opinion is that it does matter at the interview stage. Maybe not for the petition approval but more visits helps support a bona fide relationship.

I think having an explanation as to why there hasn't been more visits would be wise incase question is posed.

Best wishes!

Most of the K-1erz at the American Embassy in Manila sail right through the interview...in less than five minutes.

Chinook and I visited each other only once. My guess is that most of the K-1erz in 'Pinas have visited with their sweetheart only once.

You've already been through the difficult part...the medical. Now sit back and enjoy the interview.

Gudluk! :star:

It's okay. I've seen a lot of K1 filers who only saw their fiancees only once. As long as it's within two years

Bring pictures preferably the mushy ones and with your family and friends. They often ask how many times he visited you and for how long.
