hi,

Im glad to see my fellow VJr's getting their NOA1's, but i still havent heard and its now over 4 weeks. Im just getting a little worried that we somehow messed it up as all others around my time have all got theirs.

anyone else still waiting from Texas?

i know i have a looong wait ahead, but with the baby on its way, i would love the security of knowing all is in the system :(

4 Weeks is a bit long for NOA1, Did you send the package by a traceable method, like certified mail with receipt card? Did you pay by check and have the canceled check? If you have the canceled check, the case number should be on the back of the check. If Money order can you verify that it was cashed?

That is still strange, NOA1 should be sent to you a few days after they receive the petition, it is just a receipt showing that they received the package and have assigned a case number to it. The case will then be transfered to CSC. I would be getting a bit concerned by now.

I sent mine to NSC on 7/6. Per the USPS, it was delivered 7/8 (Saturday). My Receipt was sent 7/31, the ssme day my check was cashed. I'd be a bit concerned, but not panic (yet). Maybe it's because they are so busy sending out long overdue NoA2's.:lol::lol:

Look at my signature and get an idea of the timing of my NOA1. It took a long time to cash the check. could your NOA1 be mispalced in the mail? How's your delivery. Others have posted 3-4 weeks wait is not unsual, but if you do not hear soon, I'd call and follow up.

Hmm, I sent mine to NSC on August 14th, and my NOA1 Date from CSC is August 23rd. I had a pretty quick transfer. And that seems to be the case for most people from NSC.

Maybe TSC is just running a little behind?

they have no record of us in the system and they suggest waiting 3 weeks and then resubmitting.

i am pretty much in shock. the baby is 7 weeks gone and has a due date at the end of april and at this rate i wont be back for that...

Have you gone to the website and set up auto notification? It might work and send an email to you once you register with your SSN. Just a thought!

I am so sorry to hear this. I saw something happened on this board before where a file was mishandled, but i think its very rare. Let's hope the NOA1 is just around the corner and you will not need to resubmit.

Wishing you a speedy journey and quick reunion. (F)

thanks for your kind words, its appreciated :)

im still holding out some hope but with us not in the system, no check cleared, its hardly looking good.

im hoping they will allow us to resubmit directly to CSC if it comes to that as i know another couple on here did that when their package was returned due to IMBRA. If i havent heard anything in 10 days, we shall call back, check a direct CSC mailing is ok and then resend it shortly after.

Well be sure to let us know how things are proceeding. Worse case- you resubmit and it means a few weeks later than you wanted, but that's nothing compared to a life time together. Good luck! (F)
