CSC - NOA2 to NVC Delay

I just got off the phone with NVC and they gave me my numbers sweeeeet!!!!!

My NOA2 was 6/20

Praise the Lord for He is good and faithful. Our petition was approved 6/21/2011 and I just called and got my NVC Case number and Invoice Identification Number (IIN) and I gave my spouse's email address :dance: .

I thank everyone for helping us keep hoping and am praying for all, who are waiting for your NVC Case Numbers. May the Good Lord bless you all.

Congrats NavyK... Now I think it will take one week to generate the invoice.. Because I can log in to the system with IIN# and case#, but it says "NOT INVOICED".. hope to get it on Monday....

I too could logon (https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Signon.aspx?node=Signin) and see the same message (the beneficiary name is yet to be entered). Just called India and informed the progress - wife is super excited and is working on sending DS-3032 email.

NVC sent the email with the DS3032 and the AOS fee to both me and my wife. You want to pay that right away because it takes them a few days to process the payment.

I called USCIS this morning and they say they have no way to tell when the approval is mailed to NVC. So I have no idea what "en route" mean when NVC says that. I am imaging that's just something they say. I've had one rep tell me they weren't aware of any problem at all with CSC, and another say it is deifinitely a problem over there. I insisted they tell me how to determine it was mailed so they told me they would send a message to CSC and ask them to get back to me. So they gav me a confirmation number and said they would be emailing me within about 2 weeks. of course, I will have the case number in two weeks, but then that's just the way it goes.

singhisking, It is 11 PM in India and the DS-3032 email has been sent and we got automatic acknoledgement. Don't wait to receive the DS-3032 email from NVC, just let the alien spouse send it out as soon as you get your NVC Case Number and IIN and are able to login. Once it is processes by NVC, the system will allow fee payments.

aschenbecher, pririty date is the date USCIS receives your petition. In 5 - 10 days of sending the petition, you will get a notice of acknowledgement (NOA1), which will indicate the pririty date.

Since you are applying for your spouse, you don't have to worry about priority dates. Visas for spouses (and children and I think that's it maybe) are unlimited. There are other categories that have limits on them and then you will get one when "your turn is up" according to priority date and how many visas they are issuing that year. Again, this doesn't pertain to your case.

So what about the Bar-code strip because in the form it says " Place case bar-code strip here before mailing". Thats why I thought NVC will generate DS-3032 with my case number on it and email it to me....

So a day after you get the info from the human operator, does the automatic phone response system tell you your case number also? Do we have to assume that the automatic system is unreliable and must insist on speaking to some one?

don't use the 3032 form - have beneficiary send an email ... there are templates on the end of one of the guides.

from my understanding, there is a 24 hour turn around, which is great b/c you need that processesd before they issue IV DS-230 bill in the invoice system.

NVC UPDATE: as of 1pm PST Friday

Evidently in New Hampshire, "it is 105F and the A/C is not working", so the servers I think are shut down for at least 30 minutes. They cannot help with case info, but will answer general questions.

Just when they were on a JuneNOA2date>6/20 roll! darn it!
