I just wanted to find out from fello VJ journeymen what they thought of how accurate the VJ timeline approximations were? my timeline approximate adjudication between 06/27 and 07/04 and I have yet to receive notification and I've checked to immigration case status and there is nothing yet nor have I received any RFEs. Thank you for your thoughts on this, I guess I am just too anxious.

What other joy is there but being with the one you love

As you said, it is an approximation, meaning that you shouldn't be too upset if your actual waiting time exceeds it. Also, you say that yours is 6/27-7/4: it is quite obvious that nobody will touch your file on 7/4, or even on 7/3 and 7/2 (long Independence Day weekend). I believe that you may start requesting the USCIS to take action 5 months after NOA1, so until then you're within the official timeframe. This said, our timeline was pretty accurate, and we got approved within it. I hope this answers your question. Hang in there, you're really close. Good luck.

Its just an average based on everybodys timeline updates. Its probably something like, this is just example based on nothing, 50% fall in the middle of the range 20% on both extremes and probably 10% are way off in the extremes somewhere.

Well people how far off am I on my guess?

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!

It's just an average of everybody who's bothered to input the information, so it can't say much about any given individual case. It's most useful for detecting periodic trends and is a reasonable indicator of how quickly certain service centers are processing visas. There is no way it's going to be accurate to a given day...if it says 7/4, I would consider getting it any time in July to have been a pretty good prediction.

I will say, I think Texas Service Center is a bit of a wild card, based on it's history over the past year. Very hard to predict how things move there.

Good luck and stay positive  It will happen for you.

There might be factors you can't take into consideration about your case, employees on vacation, backlog etc. But a start would be changing your service center to either Vermont or California :) Texas is not approving/adjucating i-129f petitions.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012
