Packet 3 -Copy of all previous passports?-

So this is what says on package 3 instructions:

PREVIOUS PASSPORTS: You must send us a copy of all previous passports and present the originals at the time of the visa application interview

Since I have 6 passports I was wondering if I have to send copies of all pages, (even blank ones) or just the bio pages, visas, exits and entries.

So I asked the US Embassy in Argentina about it and this is the answer I got:

"You can give us copies of all passport pages".

What does it mean? I know I can... I want to know if I must...

It's not normal. Don't expect to be asked the same thing.
