Sending Balikbayan Box from Missouri

USPS large size box is peanuts.  The jumbo box used for balikbayan purposes is 18x24x24 with unlimited weight.  It is shipped by ocean container.  Last fall ours took 75 days and it weighed in excess of 100#. 

 

Our next one should go end of June.

If you were sending a balikbayan sized box every two weeks for $15 that only took a week,  then you need to come forward with how because everyone will want to jump all over that

Yeah the Philippines is completely different than Afghanistan. You must of been sending something to someone on a military base there which is why it was only $15 and took 1week. If you were to send the same box to the Philippines in 1 week then it would be $100+ at the very least.
