Ok So our K1 and K2 visas were approved last 6/22 and were just asked the usual questions:

How did we meet?

how many times he visited,

if we had previous marriages, his job, duarations of his stays,.. mostly dates that im pretty sure were answered accurately.. he was just browsing through our docs most of the time during the interview that only lasted for like 6 minutes and said " ok i will approve your visa now and expect it in few days.. goodluck Lance!.." (my 3 year old son)

However i cant help but wonder why he didnt even bother to look at the photo album i really put so much effort in making LOL with all my creativity and even the folder which contains other relationship proof such as emails, plane tickets, hotel reciepts, skype screenshots, engagement ring reciept, money transfer reciepts etc..

Is this usual? if so how many days were you able to have the visa on hand after the interview

TIA <3

Congrats!! I think your case was pretty strong if he didn't look at those. I know how you may feel, we put so much effort in making these things and they don't bother! lol... But you will soon be with your love, that's all that matters!!

Thanks a lot..got a bit worried and thought maybe he just wanted to rush the interview and work on it later because my son was throwing serious tantrums during the interview i had to make him sit on the interview counter which was ok with him and even chatted with my hungry, tired and bored lil brat :P..well i guess it was just me and my crazy paranoia :D Goodluck to the rest of us here at VJ

Mw wife said her interview was like that. The CO didn't look at any of the pictures etc. He did hold up a picture that I had submitted with the initial package and asked her if the picture was of me.

Quick and painless she says.

Same with my wife. The only question the CO asked was "what took you so long to apply for a visa?" (I lived in the Philippines for 19 years, and we have been married for 12 years, with 2 U.S. Citizen daughters). The whole process was pretty easy from start to finish with the exception of being stuck at TSC along with the other 36000 petitioners who were transferred from CSC last year.

That's cool, for me the CO just look at at least 5 photos and never bother to look the other stuff (reciepts, plane tickets, money transfer, and other proof of ongoing relationship) and yes it took me a hard time to prepare all of it the way its organize... And one common thing was, he said goodluck to my daughter and asked if she is ready to move in the USA. I think kids bring goodluck and charm,,,,

Im happy for you...
