unimportant update, but i thought i might as well since things will be slower post-wise here in the july filers thread:

husband arrived back safely. very happy to have him back around, mostly so i don't have to do all of the chores!

he did not end up doing an early walk-in bio, but instead just went on the day of the reschedule (24 august). all was fine and very quick according to him.

other than that we are just cleaning up from irene. not a joke even as far north as vermont. think saint albans was not affected much, so shouldn't impact processing.

thanks to the person who pointed out that VSC processes more types of applications. that helps to explain the difference in processing times. which helps me be a little less in a a hurry. but we are just sitting tight for the moment. not even checking for updates on the USCIS site.

until next time!

I have already mentioned it, but it's worth repeating that the Executive branch's decision to have USCIS review 300,000 pending deportation cases shall have a significant effect on processing times. VSC already appears burdened and it may be flooded by 'priority' cases, which involve non-violent illegal aliens being granted de facto amnesty. Meanwhile legal paying (taxes and fees) immigrants must wait.

Well, they are still working on May/June filer's cases.

As of 9/2 CSC approval rates are May:10%, June:24% (here in ROC forum May/June thread) so...

Tarjeta Verde's case is very special :)
