Six more months

Okay guys, my fiance picked-up her packages yesterday and she along with others were very upset. The first reason she was upset was because she got to the embassy at 7:30am, and told that she had to wait until 2:00pm to pick-up the package. That's crazy!! Then she said at 2:00 the lady gave everybody the instructions on what to do next, everyone was so excited.....until they opened up their packages and saw these long wait interview dates. She said people were so...upset! I told her, if you think they're upset, how do you think I feel Six more months....I was hoping to see her at least before christmas, and bring in the new year together. We've been together for 3 years, and it looks like I'm going to have to take another trip to Africa. Does anyone have any idea on the least expensive airline ticket to Ghana.

Try bt-store.com,delta.com or wholesaletickets.com to see the difference in airfares. Congrats on atleast having an interview date . I know 6 months seems far away, BUT half of the year is almost over. The accra embassy seems to be chaotic b/c there are alot of us IR/CR-1 filers still waiting for an interview after having waited a year or more ! To date our, case has been completed since May of 2010 and we have not heard anything. I am noticing that it's still the same for others whose cases were completed b4 ours. You are lucky in the sense that atleast you have a date for which you all can plan and prepare. Some of us are still in the dark in terms of where things stand at all after waiting for soooooo long Hang in there!

Actually, the other country whose wait time is long once completion of NOA2 and waiting for scheduling of interview is El Salvador not Mexico .
