Did you sent or did your lawyer sent?

You should get a response from NVC about three weeks from the day the I-864 was sent if they received it. If they have not, the problem might be with your lawyer.

My lawyer sent everything and this is so frustrating it seems like everything is going wrong.

Two months is too long. I would contact NVC directly at this address NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Make sure you include petitioner and beneficiary's name, DOB, and case number with your inquiry or they will not answer.

I would also request a mail confirmation receipt from your lawyer.

See if you can find some help with your babies, you need to find just a little time to yourself to relax and rebuild your strength. I just had my first baby a few months back without my husband with us and I know it feels really hard trying to concentrate on papers with your brain still mushy from hormones! It sounds like you are doing too much and other people in your life need to do more of their share. I'm going to keep my opinion to myself about your boyfriend not getting a job and your lawyer not doing his... You sound like a very strong woman, things will get better soon and you'll be okay. Just look to the future.

You do realise that you were supposed to submit a DS-260 (online form) instead of sending the DS-230? And if your case starts with MEP, then you're also required to send both packages by email, not snail mail. This is what may be holding your case up as instructions weren't followed correctly.

Your case is a required electronic processing, whether your case starts with MEP or CDJ.... now it's mandatory.

We lost 3 months because our stupid lawyer didn't know about it. At the end my husband filed our case. And I'm having my interview next week :)

Saylin (the canadian girl that posted above me) helped us so so much. She's a pro!

Call NVC and ask what to do? Check your portal payment status, all you need is your case number and invoice number. Here's the link http://ceac.state.gov/iv/

Praying everything goes well and that you can fix this!
