i have been called to an RFE interview.

i guess its because myself and my husband live with my inlaws and we dont have a mortgage or utilities in our names.

we have already sent them taxes and proof of joint bank account. we dont have a joint credit card.

sent affidavits. mail addressed to both of us, cards, photos.

im kinda freaking out about the interview. im sure its just cos we dont have lease/mortgage or utilities

what else do i need to take to the interview?

i have my jury duty summons

netflix screen shot of billing history and address with both our names as the account holders.

medical cards from when we went on honeymoon to the UK.

ATT statements with our numbers on them (we are on his parents family plan....4 numbers)

Farmers insurance (again we are on a joint plan)

my car registration and title (he isnt on my title nor am i on his because he got the car bfore i go my SSN)

Bank statements for the duration of marriage

copies of drivers licenses with same address on them.

affidavits

mail sent to our address for us both

is there anything else i should take? obviously i am going to take copies of everything ive already sent them.

also my husband recently lost his job and has been going to school and has now finished school and is looking for a job as a massage therapist so we dont have any income coming in right now. i travel to vegas a few times a month to work but we dont really have a good income at all which is why we live with inlaws.

any help would be awesome.

interview is on tuesday 6/7/11

also anyone else who has had an RFE interview can you let me know what kind of questions they ask at the interview?

My wife and I did not have a lease/rental agreement or utilities either. We bombarded them with paystubs and affidavits, along with every bank account/credit card statement from the first day of marriage. Tax transcripts and boarding passes w/passport stamps as well. Life, Health, and Dental insurance proof... no interview.

Your interview may be what is rumored here on VJ to be one of "quality control". A random selection for an interview. If so, then you should treat it seriously, but don't stress.

Our approval was a week or so before the six month mark.

Best of luck and I hope this helps.

you really don't need to freak out.. as long as your marriage is real you'll be fine.. just take with you every single proof that shows bona fide relationship.. and be comfortable at the interview..i am sure you will be fine.. good luck!

also you can get a joint credit card now..it should be easy..i am sure that will help too..

hey angeladams,

your list of items looks good, bring photos as well! also be sure to being your NOA notice, your 2-yr GC, your passport, and the copy of the original ROC packet you sent it bring everything JUST IN CASE.

I agree with TigerTeddyBear...this interview probably is just chosen at random. so dont stress out. the interview will probably just "going through the motions", will ask some generic questions, and tick/check them off the list as being asked.

Also, ive read other postings on VJ, and usually the IO can tell if a couple is real or not, just by body language and speaking to one another. I remember back to my AOS interview... i brought everything with me but the IO didnt need to see any of it. The IO asked us how we met, and the rest of the 25 minute interview was the IO and my USC hubby talking about basketball!!

im sure you'll do fine - and please keep us posted on your experience...id love to know what questions they will ask!
