my grandpa past away too..

my sis in law wrote me a email yesterday that my grandpa in romania past away..

(my moms dad, he was the last one alive from both sides) my parents didnt told me.. sure i knew that he was gonna die (he had lung cancer for over 20 years)..so anyways she told me that my older bro and my dad went to romania and they are gonna be back monday.. i spoke to my mom on wednesday and everything was ok back then.. then last night i finally spoke to my middle bro who stood in germany.. he told me that my uncle called at 5am on thursday.. he was on a vacay from germany there.. he said that he just past away that night.. so my mom called her work and got a vacay till next week.. she drove around 4pm to romania with a bus.. my dad didnt got the news until he got home around 6pm.. and he drove with my older bro on friday morning to romania.. all my aunts and uncles went to romania too.. the funeral was today.. my aunts and uncles will return to germay on monday and my parents with my older bro come on wednesday.. they have to find someone to take care of the farm and the animals first.. my middle bro was supposed to call me right away but his drunk as*s forgot.. he said everything went to fast and my mom didnt had time to call me.. with the time change from germany and usa and her shock.. i was gonna fly to germay in november and then with my mom to romania to help out a lil with the farm and show him my baby-belly.. but i cant do that now :crying:

I am sorry for your loss and that your plans to visit your Grandpa in November didn't work out. It is hard to be so far away when a loved one dies. Our condolences to you and your family at this time.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

02/21/2009 - GC received...no mistakes...valid until 2019

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.
