Together 10 years, married for a little over 6. I was a lurker for more than a year before joining and posting.

Best wishes for all the still-married survivors and also for those who survived a breakup. MENA's been a wild ride, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world  God bless you all :luv:

We're here - class of '05 very early '06 but you knew that UmmS. We've moved across the country together, had another child and moved back to the Midwest. Youssef got his citizenship last summer, and we're planning a fall trip to Morocco for his brother's wedding. I am now working in my dream job and making enough for Youssef to be going back to school full time. It's funny in this new job one of the things that I am always working on are other peoples' immigration cases and myself along with a co-worker are in classes to become BIA certified immigration representatives.

Youssef and I are currently at the beginning of the process to adopt his nephew (new immigration headache -why oh why?!) I'm happy to say we've been married 5 years and 2 months - together for 6 1/2 years.

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!

We are class of 08. Been together 3 years, married for 2 1/2. Getting ready to apply to remove conditions next month then citizenship next July!! It has been a wild and bumpy ride but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Just had my daughter turn 16 and got her learner's permit. Now she is mommy's personal driver :) Baby boy graduated from 5th grade yesterday. Always something going on!!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Hey everybody! Class of '07 here! Hubster got here in '08 and should be applying for citizenship sometime this month. We still have one little guy between us and he will be all that we have but he is as sweet and as awnry as 3 or 4! Good to see all of you on here. I only stop by from time to time as I spend most of my free computer time on Facebook.
