Hello again folks.

I'm going to try and explain this as easy as possible.

I sent the following document off and received the NOA1 on the 27th April (I-765, I-485 and I-130)

I got my biometrics done on 12th May. Last week I received a letter for an interview for the AOS, which is set for the 27th June. As there is now word about my EAD, I have a hunch that the USCIS will not make a decision until I get my interview(I could be wrong)

I received the interview letter on 19th May which I thought was very prompt and quick, but nothing about the EAD.

As I also sent off the I-130(based on 2 years being married from a K1) I'm wondering if there is some kind of problem.

I'm I be picking this up wrong or is this normal?

Thanks again

Something wrong? You got your interview scheduled only two months after you filed the petition. You also got your biometrics a couple of weeks after filing your petition. Sounds like everything is going great!

You might not hear anything about the EAD until you receive the card in the mail. As fast as your case is moving, it's possible you might not get the EAD until after your AOS interview.

There's no need to worry. Some folks receive an EAD before the interview- others don't. At any rate, once you pass the AOS interview, you will not need an EAD any more. The officer will confiscate it any way. My hubby received the EAD last month. He has an interview next month. Good luck!

Don't get me wrong Jim, I am delighted the interview is earlier than I thought. I think I was just hoping that I was getting my EAD before my interview and I still could.

Thanks
