Why are planning on applying for US citizenship if the five years have been "miserable", and you still consider China to be "home"? It's just sounds like you'd be a lot happier moving back to China.

miserable because wife's not here and entire family's in China.

China will always be my home, being a LPR or USC doesn't change that.

i have a decent job here and moving back to China doesn't make sense financially.

i have to support my parents and save up for my own family.

Most of the big US corporations has be doing that through outsourcing. yes, The United States corporations. I guess those people who runs the corporations shouldn't consider themselves as American.
