I am completing the form G-325A Biographic Information from the step by step to complete my AOS and every time I put my A number in the form I get a message telling me that my A number validation has failed… Is that A number should be the one written on my K1 visa as well as on the I-94A that I got at POE? Just trying to understand what’s going wrong.

Thanks for your help

Are you including the 0 in front? It should be A# "0123456789 "

If your not including the 0 that might be the issue, if you are including it then not sure!

Yep the A# is on the NOA2 the K-1 and the I-94 (written by the POE officer by hand)

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

It's just an Adobe Acrobat issue. Enter the number without dashes or spaces. Just the 9 numbers. It should work (and will format it automatically)

N-400

You can add it, USCIS will add it later if you don't. It shows with the 0 on my green card.

I'm confused about the "alien number" even more now. On the NOA2 under "beneficiary" there is a number that begins with A but is followed by a #2 not a #0. Inside the passport there is nothing handwritten by the POE. There is a "departure number" and "control number" and other numbers printed on the form but none correspond to this other A number on the NOA2.

Is there something wrong or am I looking in the wrong spot? Thanks for letting me jump in here!

Nothing wrong with you. People really shouldn't keep mentioning it being on the visa or the I-94 because the officer at POE and printing the visa are known to make mistake. Go by the number written on your NOA2 and ONLY that number in order to be safe. If yours starts with a 2, write that.

Thanks for your reply V&T! I was starting to worry but I'll just go with what I've got. For such an important number I thought they'd make it a lot more prominent! Okay, okay I should know better by now...
