Just got email as well as text--we are approved in 4 months and 3 days!!! Here's the bottom line from the email:

On May 9, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice.

We just got approved too. NOA1 1/12/11, NOA2 5/9/11 so 117 days.

This was 2 petitions, one for my wife and one for my stepdaughter.

Strange though, I was signed up for emails but didn't receive one. I just checked online after seeing a bunch from early January getting approved.

April 2008: Met through a friend

April 2009: Started dating

July 24, 2009: Engaged!

Feb 25, 2010: Sent in I-129F

Mar 11, 2010: NOA1 received

July 02, 2010: NOA2 received!!

July 07, 2010: NVC receives case

Aug 04, 2010: Received Packet 3

Aug 06. 2010: Packet 3 Sent!

Sept 14, 2010: Packet 4! Interview time!

Nov 15, 2010: Medical in Montreal

Nov 19, 2010: Interview in Montreal

Interview Result: Approved!

Dec 30, 2010: Moving Day! POE at Calais, ME! Never have to be apart again!

Hey Dave--

you are lucky to be at CSC--they seem to be very active at the moment

I see that. I was actually kind of mad before I joined this site that I had was going to CSC.

I thought I was going to have to deal with either VSC or NSC.

My brother that sponsired my sis-in-law dealt with NSC. His timing was horrible as their process was right smack dab when 9/11 happened. It was a big mess and it took over 1.5 to get my SIL here.

Reading/watching the news is crazy tough. I'm glad that we are from India and they are a much stable state than most of the countries around the world having issues now.
