Okay so I am jumping the gun a little here but I was just hoping someone might help.

I have my interview at 8:30am on June 6th. How long on average does it take to receive everything back in the post (i.e. passport)?

My wife is here in the uk with me at the moment and returns to the U.S. on June 16th, there is still seats available on her flight but I don't want to book anything just in case there is a delay. The problem is that the later you leave these things the more expensive they become.

All this is of course assuming my interview is successful!

Thanks

Andy

It supposedly takes 3-10 days to get your Visa back.

Worst case scenario this puts the 10th day as June 20th if you disregard saturdays and sundays.

I'd check the cost of changing the flight and make a decision.

You're in a horrible quandary! :(

I know what you're saying about flights they are so expensive the closer you book, and as for a one way ticket, dont get me started on their prices but I really would just wait till its in your hand. it probably will arrive straight away and you'll wish you had booked on it but sods law says if you're booked on a flight it won't arrive on time. I've used 'dial a flight' on mant occasions they're usually really good at getting cheaper flights

I know Mumbai Embassy does this...

London doesn't allow this. All visas are delivered by courier.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

Wait til the visa is in hand... some individuals posting lately have been waiting, what seems to me, longer than the average wait.

Unless the flight you are booking on to has a low/no fee to change the flight?
