One week and 3 days left of work then I am done done done :thumbs:

It will be sooo weird not working for a few months. I just won't know what to do with mahself. Can't wait to get down to Florida. I'm calling this summer 'Pre-Retirement" lol.

Hope ya'll have a great day. Tamara thats just crazy! I hope for everyones sake they catch who is doing this.

HELLO MENA!! What's everyone's plans for the Memorial Weekend? :energy:

finish putting together the work bench from hell. it's 9.5 feet long, 2 feet deep, and made of 2x6's, 4x4's and 4x6's for legs, and two shelves made of 2 2x10's and a 2x6. two sets of cross beams to support the shelves, set in the middle is 2x6's and the set 1/4 of the way from the ends is 2x4's.

not done putting the bottom shelf on and it already weighs over 250 pounds :blink:

it is finally together :blink: only thing left is putting the 1/8" plywood top on it.

i can't even pick up one end of the bench to move it, it has to be at least 400 pounds.

Oh my gosh! That must be any handy man (or woman)'s dream work bench!

Happy Memorial Day, all. I don't post here much but I feel like I'm at the point where I need some support. Amir has his interview on Thursday and was put into AP, as expected. Malaysia tricked him and didn't let me come to the interview, but at least it went well for him! The CO said he has no doubts about our relationship but he still has to go through AP. Amir said at least a third of the people (mostly men) had to go through additional background checks after the interview. The CO said it would take 1-2 weeks or perhaps more. Of course I am assuming it will take much longer. I have the "AP blues". :(

Hope everyone had a good memorial day weekend. Malaysia has a lot of public holidays but, unfortunately, memorial day isn't one of them.

Oct. 19, 2010: Sent I-129F packet

Oct. 25, 2010: NOA1

Nov. 05, 2010: Touched

Mar. 01, 2011: Went to Malaysia to be with my fiancé

Mar. 30, 2011: NOA2!

Apr. 08, 2011: Case left NVC

Apr. 12, 2011: Case received by embassy in KL

Apr. 19, 2011: Received Packet 3

May 04, 2011: Received Packet 4

May 06, 2011: Medical examination

May 26, 2011: Interview

RESULT: Administrative Processing

Jun. 18, 2011: Visa received

POE: June 27 @ San Francisco, CA

Married: July 20, 2011
