I received the email moments ago - Application Approved!! It was actually approved Sept. 1st, but the "touch" I noticed on Friday was not specific in what was done. The information on USCIS site was updated today with the approval.

And, I have to say my faith has been restored - I had to answer "yes" to the RFE questions re prior crimes, and they still approved without long drawn out investigation. Naturally, I was open and honest with information attached to the RFE, so I think that helped the situation. And of course, I could point out to USCIS that I already presented the info to my fiance a couple years ago.

All in all, I am so happy! I only wish I didn't have to work for the next days... how I want to celebrate!!

02/26/06---- I leave Taichung amidst a trail of tears

06/16/06-----I propose to Ann in Taichung- Happiest Day of my life (So Far!)

07/27/06---- I-129 Sent to Lawyers for review

07/31/06---- I-129F Forwarded to Vermont (let's hope things move along!)

Sept 2006- NOTHING

09/27-10/11 Back in Taiwan with Ann, (leaving gets harder everytime)

12/24: I learn the truth about her deceit and double life.

12/26: ICE, USCIS, and Buffalo Immigration notified- please note the delay was only due to the holiday and I did try to call as soon as I found out....

June 28, 2006: Touched- Day 5!

Most definitely. You would definitely be a good example for USCIS to showcase as them being very judicious in their adjudications. And your timeline isn't bad considering it's at CSC.
