Checks were cashed today. Hopefully we will get the NOA tomorrow :D

Hey! So whenever I try to check my case status on the USCIS page it says that my case number cannot be found. I know they say to wait until you get the hardcopy of your NOA, but I already got then and still the same.

Anyone??

For some people, it never worked at all.. I wouldn't rely on it, or worry about it. What matters is you got your NOA hardcopy :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

While your situation appears serious, your case does not qualify for expedited processing.

Maybe its because I need to travel on June 5th, which is a month away. Who knows? Either way, I'm going to sit tight and wait.

Well I think its exactly a month away and there's a chance that you still get it on time. At any rate, make an infopass appointment, show your plane ticket and explain your situation and they might grant you an emergency advance parole, its like a stamp on your passport or something. i have seen someone on VJ do it.. hope it works for you :) try posting a question on the forum to see the responses

Hey! I actually made an infopass appointment last week and they told me they can do an expedite the week before, but only for emergent reasons, like family emergencies etc. I'm going to wait till about 10 days before, if it still doesn't come I might resort to that!

We did a walk-in, people say it doesn't really do much though, like it doesn't really speed up your case. If you know that it's possible in your office then why not try? In my case it wasn't too far and I knew that Philly allows walk-ins so it wasn't much trouble. Plus he was busy the week we were supposed to really do it. :)

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009
