Comments : Once again, USCIS did a splendid job in producing Meg's "green card". After a rocky interview with a chinese interviewer who hardly spoke english, and was extremely hard to understand, and told us after the interview that, "they will let us know in the next few weeks", Meg received her green card today. What a long road it has been, and we are both very happy. Also, the State f Colorado reconizes unconditionally Meg's EAD that they said at one point that they doubted the validity of. So today was a good day. Perserverance Furthurs !

Comments : Our complements to USCIS - Good Job !!!

07.07.2001 - refused driving permit and subject to investigation by the state of colorado to see if the EAD that the USCIS issued to Meg, and the social security card that the Social Security Administration issued to Meg are actually valid. Does the the right hand have any idea what the left hand is doing ? We have to wait 1 month for an appointment from the investigation office of the State of Colorado, then 9 weeks for them to investigate. Three months to get a driving permit. Grade for the State of Colorado - 55 out of 100 - they dropped the ball !

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 7, 2011
Embassy Review : I had organized all of Meg's paperwork in a 7 pocket envelope that I bought on close out at Office Max. All of her papres were arranged inside, with a list taped on the outside of the envelope of what was inside each pocket. The pre-screener asked Meg who prepared the envelope, and Meg told her, "It was my Fiance". Well, except for the Birth Certificate, CENOMAR, and NBI Clearance, and the DS-Forms, they did not ask her for another thing. The CO only asked her 3 questions, and swore her in. Of course all of the paperwork was complete, all 202 pages of it. It is the details that are important! Be prepared for anything!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
