Some people do call every day. I would maybe once or twice a week. There's not much you can do so don't drive yourself crazy. I just saw on trave.state.gov that most Administrative processing cases are resolved in two months. They ask that you don't try and contact the consulate for the two months of normal AP proceessing. It takes Montreal a month to answer emails so you might want to factor that in.

Thanks :) Im canadian so I dont see how that is a problem...hopefully it is just routine! Should I try calling every day?

Let me know how it goes, I'm stuck in AP too. I'm also Canadian without any kind of criminal record or anything that would justify AP. In my case it might be because my medical wasn't ready for my appointment due to some retesting. I had to mail it with my passport afterwards. The consulate has had everything in hand for 3 weeks now and we just learned yesterday by calling DOS that our case was in AP. Let's hope it just takes a few days :)

How are people able to track progress of your approved visa?? website??? or calling a phone number????

I know it's too early to start checking.....(approved on 5/25) but we probably won't be able to help ourselves come next week....blush.gif

You can check on the CSC website (although I found this slow to update). The better way would be to take your 7-digit reference number on the CSC site and put it in at dhl.ca. They have the most up to date information about your package.

You can also call DOS to see if your visa has been printed. Their number is 202-663-1225, press 1 and then 0.

It might be too early for it to appear. Just keep checking. Hopefully it'll update this week and you can get your passport and visa.

I haven't called DOS yet....it's just been a week today since the interview..... I have been checking DHL and also say there is no record for my reference number.....and the CSC site doesn't show anything yet.....I think we are going to wait until Friday to call DOS......I know there are some people that are over 2 weeks waiting now.... appears Montreal is behind in all things these days... sad.gif

It looks like all the mid May crew are still waiting for their passport back?

My case was completed mid May as well (my medical was not ready by my consular appointment and I had to mail it with my passport afterwards).

Let me know when you guys get it. Mine's been sitting in the consulate for 5 weeks now
