Rather ironically the thread is entitled 'How to have a rational discussion'. Perhaps it's just me - but googling random articles to support old stereotypes doesn't sound very rational.

just outta curiosity, i looked up how many police officers are in kcmo - 1400 police officers - and that's a city of 475,000 people. while 3,200 soccer nuts doesn't sound like a large number, it is when compared to the police force of the average sized us city.

Now lets look at Oakland Raider Fans vs. the size of Oakland and the size of their police force. It's all about the same, and I would rather walk down a hall full of hooligans than raider fans.

Enough to know that that the bulk of the blame lies with Pol Pot and his chronies. We should of done things different but I got a feeling you more pissed off with the US than the Rouge.

US carpet bombing of Cambodia caused the Cambodian Government to collapse and the areas in which the Khmer Rouge then took hold closely match the pattern of bombing.
